Business Ethics
At Inland Productivity Solutions we believe that HOW business is done is as important as HOW MUCH business is done, and we conduct ourselves accordingly.
Founded in 1988, with a keen focus on meeting your business objectives, and a customer centered approach have made Inland Productivity Solutions a leading provider of IT support to businesses in Southern California.
We take our jobs seriously. When you hire us, our entire team is committed to making your business succeed. Given the chance, we will earn your trust and your loyalty.
We understand that abiding by this principle leads to customer and employee loyalty. We want you to know Inland Productivity Solutions is at work with your best interests in mind.
Experience – IPS has been in business with the same leadership and owners, since 1988.
Process – We have been working on our business process since our inception, and have consistently improved both our internal, and client facing processes to be the best in our industry. We actively pursue changes in our business process that improve our service delivery, and client experiences with us. Our business processes are modeled by our peers, and we assist our peers in improving their processes.
Admitting, and Correcting Mistakes – When we recommend a product that did not work for a client, we replace it at our expense – quickly and cheerfully. If we underestimate the time required to complete a project, we work just as hard at our own expense as we do when billing. Our clients appreciate this practice.
Business Acumen – We are a well run business. We are business leaders in our community, the IT industry, and contribute to the best practices in our field. What this means to you is that we are focused on making good business decisions not sales pitches. Our ultimate goal is to improve the profitability of your organization by making sound recommendations based on good business practices. We are not interested in doing business with you because we need to make a sale.
Ethical Accounting Practices – Beginning with the very first dollar, Inland Productivity Solutions has emphasized ethics in accounting, and has always taken the conservative path with tax practices.
Training and Certification – While training and certification are not a substitute for real world experience, we recognize the need for all three. Our Engineers meet Bi-Weekly for training, and technology updates. We are proud to be recognized as a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, as well as a Microsoft Small Business Specialist. As a Gold Certified Partner, we have earned the highest level of Microsoft certification by not only selling products, or having a bunch of certifications that prove we are good test takers, but by having demonstrated an ability to deliver working business solutions to multiple clients.
Depth of Staff – We too often hear from new and prospective clients that their former IT Services Company, or Computer Guy(s) are not getting issues resolved in a timely fashion. This is often due to lack of staff, process, or usually both. We will assign a primary, and a backup engineer to your account. It may at times not be practical to have one of those engineers resolve an issue in a timely fashion, or it is possible that neither of them is the right person to provide a particular service to your organization. Our process ensures that our entire service delivery team has the information required to work on your environment, to get your problem resolved, or your project done on time. It is always our goal to resolve issues as quickly as possible while controlling costs.
Staff Quality – No one is invited to join our team until we have not only interviewed them thoroughly, tested their claims of competency, and had their background checked by an independent investigator. Our entire team meets Bi-Weekly to ensure we are all on the same page with respect to one another, clients, and service delivery.
Good Business Practices – While we have never needed it, and never expect to need it, we are properly insured. We not only carry standard business liability insurance, but Professional Service Errors and Omissions insurance. Most low cost service providers do not carry proper E&O coverage, which places you at risk in the event of a serious error. We have external oversight of both our business and accounting practices to ensure we are running a quality business that delivers the quality service we promise you.
Doing the right thing at all times – Inland Productivity Solutions sets an ethical standard in the industry, and we will pursue this standard diligently.
Dedication to our Clients – When you are a client of ours, we will ask for your input on potential clients we may be considering engaging to ensure that we do not create a situation where there may be a conflict of interest. We consider ourselves integral to your business success, and conduct ourselves accordingly.
Dedication to our Community – Running a good business means more than simply delivering on our promises to our clients, it also means giving back to our community. We support many community organizations that work to benefit business, children, and adults in need of assistance.
Supporting Local Business – Whenever possible, other local businesses are the vendors of choice for us.
Earning the respect and loyalty of our clients is of supreme importance to us – more so than the "bottom line" dollar. A business that conducts itself with integrity is not only contributing to its own success, but becomes an asset to the community.
